Duck Tracks On The Huron

Took this shot walking along the Huron River.

Also, below are many picture from our trip to Arkansas. You'll have to click 'Older Posts' a few times to view them all.  Sorry, don't get this blog format stuff yet.

The Ozarks are very pretty, like a middle class Appalachia. The eastern side of the state is Mississippi Delta. Very, very flat and wet.

Car Museum Pics.

Some pics taken from a couple museums. The old Mobile stuff is from across the street from Central High in Little Rock.  The prices are frozen at 1957, the year Ike sent troups.

River Valley

The Arkansas River is at the bottom of River Valley. This pic doesn't do the view justice. This was actually taken at a lodge with a window view equally this good, just yards away. Excellent cheap food, excellent vegie burgers and fries, breakfasts. We ate 3 meals here. Our cabin was about 2 miles away, a nice hike where most of these mountian pictures were taken.

Rin-Tin_Tin and the Trail of Tears

There was this wild dog that kept an eye on us up on these rocks while hiking. The river was used to transport Native Americans on the Trail of Tears.
